For Shannon
A precious little child is born,
But taken from your midst.
The pain and anger hits so hard,
It's a punishment, you insist.

Such a sweet, small Angel,
There were such plans for his life.
No one would ever hurt him,
His future would be bright.

But these plans never came about,
Your little Angel went away.
He was needed up in Heaven,
Where all the Angel babies play.

The pain is never ending,
The years continue to pass.
His little heart is silent,
But your love will always last.

You see him in the sunshine,
In the flowers in the spring,
That dewdrop is a teardrop,
Lost among the rain.

Little Shannon is with God on high,
You will meet him there one day.
He and Brandon are just waiting,
And as a family you can stay.

WE LOVE YOU SHANNON
Silent Child
by Kelly Lancor
My silent child
our precious baby,
Close to my heart
I'll keep you with me.
An important job
God has for you,
There is love to give,
and work to do.

He needs an angel
strong but small,
To shine light on many
and give love to all.
Before you go
I give you this,
half my heart
and one last kiss.

We'll miss you dearly
that we know,
But by God you were
chosen,
So to heaven, you must go
