John Ernest Buza
Layton – John E. Buza, age 83, passed away on April 19, 2010 due to complications of kidney failure. John was born on November 18, 1926 in Somerville, West Virginia to Victor and Loretta Buza.

John enjoyed working on things mechanical as well as growing things from the ground. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved the outdoors.

He joined the Army in 1942 and fought in the Pacific Campaign. He later joined the Air Force in 1949 and retired in 1966. He went to work at Hill Air Force Base in 1967 and retired from there.

He married Maureen on May 28, 1951.

He is survived by his son Edward, his daughters Linda and Debra. He has seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Teri Lynn and his wife Maureen.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 23, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
