James applied for the "Application/Petition for Citizenship" 10-14-1840 in Bombay, Franklin, NY and he and Mary are buried at St. Mary's Cemetery in Ft. Covington, Franklin, NY where they lived most of their days. They had 13 children. James d. 01-16-1870 of Apolexy (stroke).
1870 Census:Mary moved in with her son John in Bombay, Franklin, NY.
She died: 01-24-1886.

So, they named the Town after her in Elizabeth, Colorado.
