Brenda S. Johnson, 47, of Troy, IL, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was born February 11, 1966 in Merryville, Louisiana to William Lee Roberts and Jacqueline Jean (nee: Starr) Robertson. On March 16, 2012 in Edwardsville, IL Brenda and Betsy Catherine Edwards entered into civil union.
Brenda had worked as a House Mother for SAVE, in Belleville, IL. She attended the Well of Living Water in Belleville, IL.
She is survived by her spouse, Betsy Catherine Edwards of Troy IL, father, William Lee Roberts and step-mother, Donna Roberts of Ohio, and her dog Jack and cat T.J.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Cremation services entrusted to Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory in Granite City, IL. Her family and friends will have a memorial service at 9:00 p.m. on February 1, 2014 at the Princess Theatre, 113 E. 9th Street,Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
