Rosemary B. Anderson

Rosemary B. Anderson, 93, of Terre Haute went to be with her Lord on Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at her home. She was born Aug. 6, 1914, in Indian Springs, Ind., to Ray Sims and Letha Harris Sims. She retired as an LPN from Union Hospital's postpartum department after 19 years. The love of her life and husband of 54 years, John A. Anderson, preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 1994.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen Strole and husband Donald of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Susan and Cary Strahley of Terre Haute and John and Karen Henderson of Terre Haute; great-grandchildren, Lucas and Logan Steward, Andrea Henderson, and Lauren, Kirsten and Christian Strahley; and a nephew, Joseph Sims. She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband; and a brother, Joseph Ray Sims.

She was a member of Faith Wesleyan Church and was involved with singing with various vocal groups. She was devoted to her family and a prayer warrior for her family.

Funeral services will be 6:30 p.m. today at Faith Wesleyan Church, with Pastor Ray Austin and Pastor Dan Gormong officiating. Visitation will be 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Highland Lawn Chapel, in Highland Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Faith Wesleyan Church Music Department. DeBaun Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
