Mrs. Nell Anderson, 90, Amherst, died early Sunday morning at the Stratton Home, Nelsonville. She had been ill the past two months. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Jungers Funeral Chapel, Amherst. The Rev. Theodore Jordan, United Methodist Church, Amherst, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call after 12 noon Tuesday. Mrs. Anderson was born Sept. 6, 1886, in the town of Lanark, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lynch. She married Charles E. Anderson on Nov. 30, 1905, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Lanark. The couple lived on a farm in Lanark for a year, moved to Custer for two years and Amherst Junction for six years, before moving to Amherst in 1914. She lived there until last year when she entered the Stratton Home, Mr. Anderson died in 1947. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Orville (Ruby) Peterson, Green Bay; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Two sisters and several brothers preceded her in death.
