Elizabeth, 79, Philothea, died at 4:45 a.m., at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital, following a two-day illness.
She was a daughter to John Jr. and Mary (Schrage) Stucke. On Apr 21, 1896, she married William Ahrns, who survived her.
Also surviving were a son, Leo, Philothea; four daughters: Mrs. Ray Gaerke, Ft. Recovery, Mrs. Herman Tieman, Spencerville, IN, Mrs. Edmund Stachler, Burkettsville, and Mrs. Bernard Schoenlein, St. Peter; a brother, Henry, St. Louis; twenty-five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Philothea, and a member of the Ladies Altar Society.
Services were at the church, with Rev. Mathias Schmidt, officiating.
