Arthur Mann was descended from a long line of New England farmers. Like his father, he learned the shoe trade, and owned a Shoe factory called Mann & Sanborn Shoes. The factory was in Windsor, VT. He lost all of his money and committed suicide on December 9, 1907 at his summer cottage on Gun Rock Ave. in Hull, Massachusetts.
