Born in Frankfort, Indiana, on Oct. 15, 1918, she was the daughter of the late George and Maggie Kindrick Roush. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Aaron F. Adams.
Mrs. Adams was a retired head psychiatric nurse and was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church, where she was a preschool storyteller. She also was an officer in the United Methodist Women. She was a 30 year member in TOPS and KOPS.
She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia "Cys" Shewchuk and her husband, Steven, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one granddaughter, Amy Bobo; one great-granddaughter, Alia Bobo, all of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2005, at Grace United Methodist Church with Dr. Martin Spilman and the Rev. Clyde Nuckols officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 8 Friday evening at the Teague Funeral Home.
