VANCE FERRELL

LINDEN, Texas-Vance Ferrell, 73, of Linden died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, in a local hospital.

Mr. Ferrell was born June 28, 1927, in Linden. He was a retired technician for Thiokol and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Treece Ferrell of Linden; one daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Kern Braswell of Linden; four brothers, David Ferrell and Morris Ferrell of Longview, Texas, Harland Oneal Ferrell of Dallas and Horace Burl Ferrell of Jonesville, Texas; one sister, Lillian Parker of Waskom, Texas; and two granddaughters, Donna Fant and Katie Fant of Linden.

Services will be 2 p.m. today (Feb 28, 2001) at Linden United Methodist Church with the Revs. Bryan Baggett and Kathy Brun officiating. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery under direction of Haaland Family Funeral Home.

Vance C. Ferrell, the sixth child born to John Burl & Annie Eulala (Watkins) Ferrell, in Cass County Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, William Vernon Ferrell and John Orval Ferrell.
