"Howard B. Richardson, 88, lifelong Abilene-area resident, died Friday in a local hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Cedar Hill Cemetery, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mr. Richardson was born in Fisher County and married Mary Lou Nichols in 1930 in Abilene. He worked as a farm and ranch hand for Lit Winters for 25 years and was employed by Reeves County Feeders in Pecos for 10-1/2 years until retiring. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, of Abilene; [one son; two daughters]; one sister, Mabel Sims of California; nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren."
