Inscription on plaque of the Dubergue - Blanco Tomb.
Note: A bronze plaque was attached to the side of the tomb on February 11, 2009 commemorating June 7, 1892, the date Homère Plessy was arrested for violating the State Law of segregation on public transport, and the resultant 1954 Brown v Board of Education legal descision establishing Equal Civil Rights.

Josephine Blanco and Michel de Bergue were the parents of Rosa Debergue (de Bergue), spouse of (1) Joseph Adolphe Plessy and (2) Victor Martial Dupart. Charles Dupart and Homère Plessy are the sons of Rosa Debergue and her respective spouses.
