Glenna (Simpson) Ackerman, 58, died in Tucumcari Tuesday, August 20, 1974, following a long illness. She was born in Norton, Kansas, the daughter of Lona D (McKinney) and Glenn Fletcher Simpson.
She and her husband were the operators of the Ace Sign Co. in Tucumcari.
She was also a past matron of Bethel Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. Glenna served as district instructor of the Eastern Star of New Mexico and was a member of the Elks Ladies Organization.
She is survived by her husband, Warren Albert Ackerman, of Tucumcari; one son, Darryl Raymond Ackerman, of Houston, TX; one brother, Jerrold F. "Jedd" Simpson; and two grandchildren.
