Mr. Denney was born March 6, 1926 to Jesse D. and Lilly Jane (Henderson) Denney. He served in the Navy during WWII, and was honorably discharged. He was involved in a fatal one vehicle accident on May 3, 1962, leaving behind two sons, Leon and Jay Denney, and eleven brothers and sisters. He was preceeded in death by both parents and an infant brother. He was 36 years old.
