M. B. Blau Dead - After a brave battle for life since his affliction came upon him last fall, M. B. Blau died at his home in this village yesterday, (Wednesday) morning at about 2 o'clock. He had known for several days that his case was a hopeless one, and was resigned to his fate. Mr. Blau was a young man, not yet thirty-five, which would have been his age had he lived until the 20th of October next, and it was thought by many after he was attacked with kidney and liver trouble last fall and partially recovered, that he would get well, but a change came and he gradually failed until death ended his sufferings.
Michael B. Blau was born and raised in the town of Franklin. In 1892, in company with P. W. Hutter, he entered the mercantile business here and after the dissolution of this partnership continued the business alone. He was married in 1894, October 9th, to Miss Christina Hutter, who, with two small children, survives him. His death is also mouned by a mother, three sisters, two brothers and a large cirlce of friends. The funeral will take place from St. Luke's church in Plain to-morrow (Friday) morning, at 10 o'clock, the procession leaving Spring Green at 7:00 that morning.
