Lillie I. Adams, age 85, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1956 went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2007 at her home in Colorado Springs. She was a homemaker. Lillie Irene Ohmie was born on the farm in Boone County, Arkansas to John and Bertha (Gehrke) Ohmie. She attended school and when WWII broke out, went to work with Boeing Aircraft where she met and married her husband, Williams A. Adams. They married in 1945. To this union were born two sons: Lonnie (wife, Sue) Adams, Russell (wife, Deb) Adams and a daughter: Donna (husband, Gary )Roszell, all of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by a brother: Floyd Ohmie of Kansas; ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her constant companions (her Shihtzus): "Tai," "Ming" and "Taz." She was preceded in death by her sister: Mildred "Mickey" Corbett and her five brothers: Herman, Ray, Harry, Irwin and Robert Ohmie. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Garden Ranch Baptist Church, 3830 Van Teylingen, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80917. Blessed be her memory.
