Blanche L. Marks, 82, of 824 Exchange Street died at 2:15 Saturday afternoon in the Graham Hospital where she had been a patient July 1, 1970. She had been in failing health for several years.
Mrs. Marks was the daughter of the late Albert and America Brownlee Rockefeller, born on July 27, 1888 in Humphreys, Missouri.
She was married to George Rickert in Burlington, and he preceded her in death in 1942. She married William L. (Roy) Marks on April 12, 1946 in Keokuk and he preceded her in death on August 18, 1958. Mrs. Marks was a member of the Emmanuel Methodist Church.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Bessie Peterson, Keokuk; two brothers, R.D. Rockefeller, Pitman, NJ, and C.H. Rockefeller, San Jose, Calif.; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Service will be held at 1:30 Tuesday at the Schmidt Memorial Home with the Rev. Nelson Grote officiating. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
