Richard "Dick" Max Everitt, 63, of Volga, died March 20, 2012, peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born July 21, 1948, in Volga to Arthur and Viola (Miller) Everitt. He was united in marriage to Paula Peterson on April 22, 1970.
Survivors include his wife Paula Everitt of Volga; two sons, Jason (Jennifer) Everitt of Volga and Joshua (Rebecca) Everitt of Wadena; one brother, Doug (Shirley) Everitt of Davenport; six grandchildren, Katie (George) Rieck, Zachary (Jenna) Bennington, Cody Bennington, Cole, Rayne and Blake Everitt; three great grandchildren, Billie, Bryer, and Alyee Rieck.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his daughter, Rebecca Everitt Bennington.
The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to Palmer Lutheran Hospice of West Union.
