James Blevins, 91, passed away from natural causes at his home in Hesperia, Ca. He was born in Omega, Oklahoma. James was a 55-year resident of Hesperia. He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII. James retired from Yellow Freight and truck driving after 27 years. He worked at Hesperia Leisure League for about 25 years. He is survived by his son, Tom Blevins; daughter, Karen Risner; grandchildren, Kristi Rhines, Carla Bailey and Diane Daniel; great-grandchildren, Heather, Anthony, Ashley, Zachary and Sierria. He was preceded in death by his granddaughters, Sandy and Sherry. Pastor Herschel White will be officiating. VIctor Valley Mortuary handled arrangements.
