She was baptized at Christ Church 12 Sep 1888 in a group ceremony with her brother Robert William Whittaker and two cousins, Sarah Ann Lockett and Julia Ann Lockett.
She married Julius William Bourscheidt between 1905 & 1906. Two children were born to this marriage:
- Dorothy Whittaker Bourscheidt "Dollie" (1906-1994)
- Robert Whittaker Bourscheidt (1911-1992)
