After an illness of about three weeks Theodore Blonigan died Monday night at 11 o'clock. He was a well-known resident of this section, having been a resident in and near here for the past 43 years. He was born in Germany, coming to America when about 20 years old and located in Iowa, at or near Springfield in Clayton county, where he lived for about eight years. He was married while residing at that place, and finally moved to a farm just south of Johnsburg where he resided until the death of his wife, about eight years ago, since which time he has made his home with his son Frank in Adams. At the time of his death he was 71 years of age.
A family of nine children were born on the farm south of Johnsburg, seven of whom are living, as follows: John and Henry Blonigan of Rose Creek, Frank and Jake Blonigan of Adams, Will Blonigan of Oelwein, Iowa, and Mrs. Hane and Mrs. Smith of Fairbanks, Iowa.
The funeral was held in Sacred Heart church in Adams Wednesday morning, the services being conducted by Father Reichl.
