CANBY- Mrs. Bertha M. Armstrong, 60, resident of Hubbard died Thursday morning at a Salem hospital following a short illness.
Mrs. Armstrong was born October 17, 1893 in Illinois. In 1909 came to Portland from California and since living in Oregon had resided at Oregon City, Aurora, Butteville. for the past four years had lived at Hubbard.
In 1912 she was married to Milton B. Armstrong who survives. Others suriving are one son, Clarence R., Hubbard; one daughters, Margaret Hilton, Silverton; three brothers and two sisters, Leslie Gibson, Canby; Robert Gibson, Sacremento, Cruze, Calif.; Mrs. Ida Davis, Willows, Calif.; Mrs. Meda Benning, Willows, Calif.; three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Sunday, February 7 at 2 PM at the Everhart and Kent Funeral home, Canby. Interment will follow in the Aurora IOOF cemetery.
