Hilda Maria Schaeffer devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and friend age 76 passed away April 1, 2009 in Salt Lake City.

Hilda was born in Bad Kissingen, Germany May 25, 1932. She married James J. Brown in 1949.
Mom will be remembered for her loving care towards her family and friends for her kindness and generosity to all who knew her. Hilda had a great passion for growing flowers.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband and son James Jr. Survived by her two sons Chuck and Mike, daughter Debbie, grandchildren Sherrie, CJ, Chelsea and Lauren.
A funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Tuesday April, 7, 2009 at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church 1375 East Spring Lane. A viewing will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. also at the church. Committal at Holladay Memorial Park 4900 South Memory Lane. Funeral Directors Neil O'Donnell & Sons.

The family would like to thank Michelle and the hospice team at Applegate Home Care and her closest friends April, Kathryn, Anne and Elva.
