Flora Baldridge, age 94, resident of St. Rt. 603, Plymouth died Sunday, November 12, 2006 in Crestwood Care Center.
Born September 28, 1912 in Morehead, KY to Marion and Millie (Gregory) Mynhier she had been a Shelby-Plymouth area resident the majority of her life. An employee of the former Shelby Gum Co., her greatest passion was being a homemaker. Not only did she enjoy washing dishes and hanging out clothes, Flora also enjoyed sewing and gardening.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Homer and Nancy Lee Baldridge of Plymouth; one daughter, Edna Mae Baldridge and special friend, Tom Armstrong of Plymouth; four grandchildren and their spouses, Steven (Jill) Baldridge of Shelby; Lori (Brian) Bolinger of Mansfield; Jeffrey (Deborah) Baldridge of Mansfield; Lisa (Rick) Taylor of Sparta, Wisconsin; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Presley and Virginia Mynhier of Port Orange, FL; one sister, Cora McClain of Shelby; nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Baldridge in 1994, five sisters, Wilma Jones, Mary Mynhier, Clora Stidam, Nora Keeney and Dorothy Shepherd; and two brothers, Leonard and Hobert Mynhier.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday from the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. Steven Baldridge, her grandson, will officiate with interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Shiloh. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Memorial expressions may be made to the charity of one's choice and left in care of the funeral home.
