Clayton B. Adair, aged 58 years, died shortly before six o'clock Wed­nesday morning at the home of his daughter Mrs. Clayton Christ, on North Broad St., after an illness of eighteen weeks. Death was due to a complication of diseases. He was born in Pennville and lived in Lititz for the past five years. He was a blacksmith by trade. His wife, Maria Nessinger of Brunnerville died five years ago. Seven children survive: Clayton, Halfville; Calvin, at home; Charles, Manheim; Mary at home; Isaac, Lititz; Dina, at home; and Mrs. Clayton Christ, Lititz, with whom he resided. Four brothers: Benj. Elm; Halbert, East Earl; James and Land-is, of Orville. Nine grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Sat­urday at 1:30 P. M. at the house and at. 2:00 at the Penryn Reformed church. Interment will be made in the Reformed cemetery. All friends and relatives are invited to attend without further notice.
