"Abner Casey was born circa 1786 in South Carolina and died between 1860 and 1870 in Marshall County, Kentucky. In July of 1814 he married Elizabeth Riley, daughter or under the care of James Riley. Elizabeth she had a daughter later that year. Nine years later they had their second child followed by five more, for a total of seven children. Several males in this extended family were named Abner, this one was born to Abner Ellsberry Casey Sr and Nancy Anne Williams."
