Mrs. Sam (Alma P.) Carr, 88, formerly of 338 Green St., Peru, died at 8:45 a.m. May 25 in Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru where she had been a patient for one week. She had lived in Care Inn Convalescent Center for the last four years.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru, with the Rev. Theodore Engelsdorfer of Zion United Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Peru City Cemetery.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. until time of services Saturday in the funeral home.

She was born May 3, 1907, in Hollowayville to Karl and Wilhelmina (Heintz) Caus. She married Sam T. Carr on May 16, 1945, in Peru.

She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and the Lady Maccabees.

Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Marilyn Carr and Jo Ann Hundt, both of Peru; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Dolores) Kubera, four brothers and four sisters.
