Ollie Mae Allen 69, died at her Frisco TX. home on Friday June 10, 2011, following a courageous battle with kidney failure. She was born on June 21, 1941, in Lake Providence LA., to the late Willie & Hattie Davis. In 1955 Ollie and her family moved to Wichita Kansas where she attended Horace Mann Middle School and Wichita North High School, she graduated in 1959 from East High School. Ollie married Ray Allen Jr. on June 19, 1960 and 2 children were born to this union. Ollie then later divorced. Ollie worked for several years in the aircraft industry, then later worked with the community action agency. Ollie pursued a medical career where she worked in home health, she later, along with her daughter, established their own Home Health Agency where she worked for several years. She continued in the healthcare industry providing private duty nursing until her declining health. Ollie loved to share her joy with others she had a compassion for people and making people feel good. She loved to play bingo and spend time with her bingo friends and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Giving, if she had it, was just part of her nature . Ollie always had encouraging words to share. Ollie loved the Lord and was not embarrassed to mention his name and share her testimony. Ollie would tell everyone that the most important duty is to:

"keep your eye on the mighty starpost to glory".

Prior to Ollie's move to Frisco TX to live with her daughter, Ollie was a member of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church and was most gracious to her loving nephew Kirk Allen, Cheryl Allen, Brianna Allen, Nedra Hendrickson (Family Friend), Ray Allen and his wife Jackie Allen for all the love, dedication and care they provided during her severe illness.
