Phoebe Ann Vars married Cyrenus Thompson Baldwin in southern Wisconsin, we believe. They moved to the Colfax area in 1864 where they had purchased land in 1858, some of the first pioneers in the area.
They were the parents of four children, all born in Waukesha County, namely Daniel Cyrenus, Ellen, Ethelda and Arden, of whom Ellen became the wife of James Lowry. Daniel Cyrenus married Hannah Allen Foster. All, however, are now deceased.
