Thelma Maxine Burnett-Marcum, age 72 of Hamilton passed away at her residence on Monday, August 27, 2007 at 6:30am. She was born on March 15, 1935 in North Vernon, Indiana, the daughter of Clifford E. and Helen (Yeager) Little. Maxine was a member of Hamilton Christian Center. On August 11, 1953 in North Vernon, Indiana she married Ted Burnett and he preceded her in death in 1992; on December 1, 2003 in Connersville, Indiana she married Gene Marcum.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Marcum; a son, Gregory (Randi) Burnett; two grandsons, Christopher Andrew Burnett and John Daniel Burnett, all of Hamilton; a brother, Clifford Little Jr. of West Port, Indiana; two sisters, Bonnie Phillips and Sharon Woodson, both of North Vernon, Indiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford E. Little and Helen Reed; and a brother, John Henry Little.
