Meldie was called "Mama" by both her children and grandchildren, of whom I am one. She was a sweet lady who loved all of her "precious little darlings." She was a loving Christian lady who could sing louder than anyone in church, and sing well. One of her favorite expressions was, "Every cow to his own lick," and she accordingly didn't judge people, just loved them. She liked to write sweet and loving letters to those she loved.
She was the daughter of William Edward and Mattie Ellen (Ferguson) Fulgham. Wife of Grover Edwin Ford from 1919 until his death in 1963. Mother of Joseph Edwin, Doris Annette, and Evelyn Joyce.
