David Allen Dies At 87 Years Of Age
David Allen, 153 N. 12th Ave. died Tuesday at an Ontario rest home after being confined there 15 months. He was 87 years of age and had lived here 49 years. He was a carpenter and had worked on many houses in the community.
His survivors are a daughter, Mrs. H. E. Nicholson, Ontario and three sons, Elmer R. Allen, Upland; Arthur Allen, Alta Loma and Kenneth D. Allen, Covina
and 15 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
He was a member of the Church of Nazarene.
Funeral services for Mr. Allen will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Stone Funeral home with Rev. William E. Thompson, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, as officiant. Committal rites will follow at Bellevue cemetery.
