"Helen Margaret Bax, 67, Jefferson City, died Sunday at Charles E. Still Hospital. She was born Feb. 1, 1923 in Cooper county, a daughter of Christ and Sarah Allee Zey, who survive. She was married June 21, 1941 in Jefferson City to Gilbert Casey Bax, who died July 8, 1962.
"She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and was employed as a clerk for the MO Division of Health.
"Other survivors include: five sons, Gilbert J. Bax and Robert W. Bax both of Jefferson City, Richard L. Bax of Morrison, Illinois, Clifford F. Bax of Taos and Dennis E. Bax of Holts summit, MO; one daughter, Susan E. Evans of Westphlaia; three brothers, Adam Zey of San Jose, CA, Webb Zey of Springfield and John Zey of Sarona, WI; 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
"Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Dulle Funeral chapel burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in California.
