ARTHUR JAMES ADAMS
Arthur J., son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey M. Adams, departed this life April 3, after an illness of twenty-three days, of spotted fever, aged 11 years, 5 months.
He leaves parents, three sisters -- Cora, Eva and Ella -- and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss.
The silver cord of life was snapped and by it a sweet and loving soul was permitted to enter the haven of rest. Never again will his bright and laughing blue eyes beam forth with joy in the family circle. A little over two years ago the Death Angel visited this home and took away two young men, Charlie and John, in less than five days, and has come again and taken away the last dear son.
Funeral services were held at the Friendly Grove church, conducted by Rev. L. F. Galey, April 5, after which his remains were laid by the side of his brothers on the hillside in the Adams cemetery.
