ADA E. (PETTY) ADAMS - Services for Mrs. Ada Petty Adams were Tuesday at Pafford Funeral Home with John W. Jarrett officiating. Burial was in Lexington Cemetery. Mrs. Adams, who was 93, died Sunday afternoon at NuCare Convalescent Center after a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of Henderson County, the widow of A. F. Adams and a member of the Church of Christ. She leaves three sons, Edward Adams of Wildersville, Raymond Adams of Columbus, Miss., and Edmond Adams of Memphis; two daughters, Mrs. Sue Maxwell of Lexington and Mrs. Louise Day of Memphis; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Coble of Lexington; 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
