Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon for Bishop Adams, 18, who was killed instantly near Henderson, Ky., on Monday night while enroute to Evansville on a motorcycle which he had only recently purchased.
The cause of the accident is believed to be due to a slippery road and he being an inexperienced operator of the cycle.
Adams lived near the Trigg-Lyon County line and was well known there.
He was a member of the Hill City Camp No. #20 Woodmen of the World Lodge in Cadiz and also a member of the drill team.
The last rites were held at the Harmony Church in Caldwell County at 3:30 Tuesday afternoon under the charge of the Cadiz W.O.W. The members of the Drill Team were the active pallbearers.
Burial was made at Millwood Cemetery.
