Elayne Kay Adele, nee Poston, 49, of Waterloo, Ill., born Oct. 29, 1959, in East St. Louis, Ill., died on Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, in Waterloo, Ill.
Mrs. Adele was a loving homemaker. She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Waterloo, Ill., and the Road Raptors Club.
Kaye was preceded in death by her son, Mark Wilson; mother, Frances, nee Smallwood, Poston; maternal grandparents, Ernest and Ester, nee Carmack, Smallwood; and paternal grandparents, Murry and Mary, nee Sparling, Poston.
Surviving are her husband, Larry Adele of Waterloo, Ill., whom she married Nov. 19, 1996, in Waterloo, Ill.; father, Ray L. Poston of Waltonville, Ill.; son Jason (Nicole) Wilson of O'Fallon, Ill., sister, Vicky (Jeff) Woodrome of Waterloo, Ill.; brother, William Ray (Sharon) Poston of Pekin, Ill.; step daughters, Robin (Brad) Sewell of Collinsville, Ill., and Teri Ann Adele; step son, Eric J. Adele of Peoria, Ill.; grandchidren, Marc, Jason, Octavia, and Orion of O'Fallon, Ill., Andrew and Matthew of Peoria, Ill., Brandon of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Jacob and Jonathan of Collinsville, Ill.; nieces and nephews, Jeff (Amy) Woodrome of Chester, Ill., Amy (Aaron) Liefer of Fults, Ill., Andrew and Heather Woodrome of Waterloo, Ill., Diane (Mike) Thornton of Pekin, Ill., Don (Lisa) Poston of Pekin, Ill., Shelly (Jerry) Jones of Perkin, Ill., and Billie Jo Ingles of Pekin, Ill.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, and from 8 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at DeFabio Funeral Home in Waterloo, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at the funeral home with Sister Ruefenacht and Sister Morrill officiating. Interment will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Ill.
