Obituary (Elysian Enterprise, Waseca Co., MN, Sat., May 30th): "Mrs. John Dalton, a former resident of Iosco, was buried at St. Jarlath's Catholic church cemetery there Tuesday morning. About 75 years of age, she fell at her home in Minneapolis a few days before her death, suffering a broken hip, and complications set in. She passed away Saturday, May 30. The former Mary Kane, she was born in Wisconsin, moving here when a girl and growing to womanhood in Iosco township, where her parents lived on the farm now owned by Fred Gieseke. Following her marriage to John Dalton they lived southeast of town until moving to Minneapolis, where she had since resided. Her husband preceded her in death. She is survived by two sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Andrew Slattery of Minneapolis and Mrs. Joseph McCarthy of Waseca; Edward Kane of Faribault; James and Bartley Kane of Minneapolis, and Pat Kane of Oregon."
