Cecil Clarence Heflin, 82 of Clayton, died December 31, 1994 at Antlers. He was born January 2, 1912 to William Terrell Heflin and Sara Katherine Donathan Heflin at Wister. He was of the Baptist faith and worked in logging and timber.
He married Olga Lucy Stripling August 6, 1930 at Wister. She preceeded him in death April 13, 1992. He was preceded in death also by his parents, infant twin daughters, son Bill Heflin, and a sister.
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Frank Brooks of McAlester and Wilma and Leon Sheppard of Krebs; a son and daughter-in-law, Elton and Wanda Heflin of Tulsa; a sister, Pearl Gatlin of El Sobrante, California; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were held January 4 at Ellis Chapel Cemetery at Wister with Rev. Warren Ballard officiating. Clayton Funeral home handled the arrangements.
Pallbearers were Gary Brooks, Chris Heflin, Mike Sheppard, Gene Odom, Phillip Parmenter, and Glen Oswald.
