For an occupation he did a variety of things. Owned a grocery store, also in the hardware business. Moved to Tofield Alberta Canada and purchased a farm from William (Bill Blasie?) and farmed. He was in Canada for 15 to 20 years. He was always a sharp dresser. He moved back to Ft. Wayne from Canada with Anna and retired.
