Graveside services for Miss Janie E. Aday, 77, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 13, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Art Beebe officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Miss Aday was born in Counce, TN on October 22, 1931 and passed away on February 10, 2009 after a lengthy illness. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.

Miss Aday is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Mahaily Aday; three brothers; three sisters and son-in-law, James "Jim" Rabb.

Survivors include her children, Lillie Rabb of West Monroe, LA, Jimmy Duke and wife Paula of Eros, LA, Betty Mitchell of West Monroe, LA, Sammy Duke and partner Ron Hulbert of Hiawassee, GA and Joyce Broom and husband Gene of West Monroe, LA; nine granddaughters; thirteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Virginia Aday of Turkey Creek, LA and numerous nieces and nephews and a life-long friend, Roy Boyd of West Monroe, LA. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Miss Aday's family would like to give a special thanks to Suzanne Hatton and Camika McCoy and the staff of Patients Choice Hospice for all their special care.
