Larry Joseph Adams, 89, of Pulaski died Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at Pulaski Community Hospital. Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 26, at 11 a.m. at the Bower Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Neal Hawks officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, with full military honors. He was born Feb. 25, 1918, in Jacoby, La., a son of the late Jefferson and Luby Bordelon Adams. He was retired from the former Coleman Furniture Company with over 30 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II and received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lemmie Firmin Jr.; and two sisters, Lena Austin and Nelda Puppero. Survivors include his wife, Agnes Jones Adams of Pulaski; two daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn and Karl Hager of Dublin, Darlene Harvey of Pulaski; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, James A. and Debra Hager, Julia and Cynthia Hager, all of Hiwassee, Thomas W. and Nicole Hager, Brooke and Stefanie Hager, all of Max Meadows, K. Jefferson and Terri Hager, Bailey Hager, all of Belspring, Michael E. Harvey and Melissa, Christopher and Elizabeth Harvey, all of Radford, Larry J. and Teresa Harvey, Noah, Luke and Eden Harvey, all of Fredericksburg; a brother, Wallace Firmin of Louisiana; and six sisters, Marjorie Maddy, Ruth Bacon, Elaine Bacon, Freda Carpenter, Madeline Elliott and Bernice Latino, all of Louisiana.
