Carrol Sue Albrecht, 57, of Keystone (Burke Mountain), went to be with the Lord early Monday morning, Feb. 5, 2007 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center after a short illness. Born Nov. 11, 1949 in Keystone, she was the daughter of Ezra James Burnette of Burke Mountain and the late Edna Mae Knight Burnette. She was affiliated with the Protestant faith, a former employee of Wendy's in Bluefield, Va. and also a former employee of McDonald's in Bluefield. She was a homemaker, and a lifelong resident of McDowell County. Other than her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Otto ‘Sonny" Albrecht on Feb. 7, 2005; two brothers, Eddie Burnette and Darrell Burnette; her maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by: Her father, Ezra James Burnette of Burke Mountain; one son, Michael Albrecht and companion Kristen of Burke Mountain; one grandson, Michael J. Albrecht of Burke Mountain; one granddaughter, Alexandra Albrecht of Burke Mountain; three sisters, Sharon Pack and husband Glen of Burke Mountain, Edina Burnette and companion Bill of Tazewell, Va., Nancy Norris and husband Joe of Greenville, S.C.; five brothers, Donnie Burnette of Burke Mountain, Lester Burnette of Burke Mountain, Mark Burnette and wife Madonna of Falls Mills, Va., Leonard Burnette and wife Diana of Coaldale, Jeff Burnette and wife Gina of Cana, Va.; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday (today), Feb. 7, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Widener Funeral Home Chapel, Northfork with the Rev. Kenneth Price officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton. Friends may call today at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the hour of service. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
