Betty (Ross) Runkle and her husband Kermit were our neighbors when my sisters and I were little, we lived on Campbell Ave, in the Brinker Heights housing addition in Marion, IN. You couldn't have asked for better neighbors. They really took an interest in us girls. I guess I looked to them as Grandparents since my real grandparents lived in Michigan. Every child needs a Grandparent to look up to. I'm so thankful that God brought them into our lives.
The following is her obituary taken out of the Chronicle-Tribune of Marion, IN.

I'll be trying to locate the cemetery and go and take a picture of her headstone myself. I'm sure she's buried next to Kermit and it'll give me a chance to visit them. I was unable to go to either of their funerals. I'll also be setting up a page for Kermit.
Thank you in advance for leaving flowers. She definitely deserves them. She grew the most gorgeous roses.
