DEATH COMES TO MRS. MARY ALLEN
Mrs. Mary L. Allen, 71, former resident of Crooksville, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nellie Pyles, of 1245 Melrose Avenue, following a lingering illness of complications.
A native of Crooksville, Mrs. Allen had lived with her daughter for past year. She was a member of the U. B. Church at Crooksville.
Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Asa Brown, of Crooksville, and Mrs. Pyles, with whom she made her home; a sister, Mrs. Blanche Gardner, of Glouster; a brother, Clarence Coulter, of Crooksville; 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the U. B. Church in Crooksville with Rev. Mr. Cuken officiating. Burial will be held in the Crooksville Cemetery.
The body has been removed to the home of Mrs. Asa Brown from the Cannon and Cannon Funeral Home.
