The Zenser family lived in a town called Nagyszentmiklos, Torontal County, Hungary, now called Sinni Colau Mare, Timis County, Romania. He came to the U.S.A. in 1905 aboard the Frankfurt. Thomas purchased 100 acres, section 35 East of Gladwin, Michigan in 1906. He could not keep this farm going and moved to Detroit, Michigan. In 1913 he returned to Gladwin, Michigan and purchased 80 acres in section 19, North of town. This farm was sold when he was diagnosed with cancer of the bladder. The family moved back to Detroit in 1922 where Thomas passed away.
