Frances was the youngest of 10 children. She loved her family, knew how to work hard, and had a special gift for growing flowers. She was talented in painting, knitting, sewing and hooking rugs. She had many friends who enjoyed her company. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends from Bethany Congregational Church.
She was a charter member of the Ann Carey chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, with her National Number of 266576.
