Emma C. Zoebisch Buckley
Birth: Dec. 13, 1865
Boston
Suffolk County
Massachusetts, USA
Death: Sep. 4, 1934

Emma married John Buckley of Lexington, MA. They lived in Cambridge at 12 Vincent St., until the time of her death. He was so heart broken that he died 19 days later. They had no children.

Emma was very active in the pursuit of knowledge. She was widely read, and kept extensive biographical records on famous people in the theater. She volunteered as a guide, giving tours at Mt. Auburn Cemetery.

She was a great supporter of the Animal Rescue League, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Emma, you spent your entire life learning and sharing so that others might have a good life. You understood the purpose of this gift of mortality. Thank you for your fine example. Rest in peace with your beloved John.
