Bridget married Eli Harry Bowers on July 19, 1885 in Indianapolis.
They had one child: Edward 'Eddie' born May 22, 1886 - died May 22, 1898. Eddie drowned on his 12th birthday in White River (Pogue's Run) in Indianpolis. Both of his parents were there. Eddie gave the gold watch he got for his birthday to his mother. He was told by his mother not to go swimming, but he did anyway.

After Bridget's sister, Sarah Ann Maloney, died on December 13, 1902, Bridget went to care for the nine children (and husband) Sarah children: Daniel Joseph 21; George Francis 19; James William 15; Alice Margaret 'Maggie' was by then deceased (1888); Anna Josephine 13; Helen Marie; Nellie' 11; Sarah Veronica 'Sadie' 8; John Francis 8; Mary Josephine 6 and William Anthony 'Mickey' 3.
Bridget (Aunt Biddie) took care of them to adulthood. The children's father, John Maloney, died August 18, 1923. Bridget left the house by then. She probably left the Maloney house when the youngest, Mickey, became 21 (1920). Also, Mary and Sadie had come back home and they were the caretakers along with their brother Johnny.
She entered Little Sisters of the Poor on August 1, 1924.
