He served in the 83rd Infantry Division in Germany in WWII. Upon returning to the States he graduated from Marion Military Institute, the University of Miami and attended Tulane University, then graduated from the Medical College of Alabama in 1957. He practiced Emergency Medicine in Montgomery and had a private practice in Prattville for a short while. He was Director of Emergency Medical Services at Medical Center East in Birmingham Al. and then went into private Family Practice in Huffman Al.for over twenty years. He was a member of the Jefferson County Medical Society, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, the American Medical Association and the World Medical Association. His memorial service was held Monday, September 15th, 2003. Buried in Plantation Cemetery in Rehoboth Alabama in Wilcox County. One Daughter, Victoria C. Wiltsie Burger.
He was a great friend for 30 years.
